[003] resource post/ 02:38 Maybe you've asked yourself: 'where is this font from?' or 'i want that texture!'. Okay, you want to find it with Mr. Google? Say goodbye. Resources for graphics are usually from small websites that [maybe] you can't find with Google. Or even, from blog/journals! Here, I'm posting some of my favorite resources: FONTS dafont.com: YES I ONLY HAVE ONE RESOURCE FOR FONTS. Believe it! BRUSHES/TEXTURES deviantart.com: lame? YES. but there are like, a million brush (okay, hiperbolic here) in deviantart. it's up to the keywords when you search for it :) obsidian dawn: holy mother of all cows. this site is GORGEOUS *___* free brushes, and other resources. what else do you want? appendix squared: another gorgeous and full of graphic resources site. with their retro style and poparts, they're going to blow you up! celestial star: ah the all time favorite <3 textura: not a big site, but full of big and beautiful textures! texturize@lj: this is what i call heaven. almost all of the texture maker in livejournal promote and give direct link for their handmade textures! [002] icon tutorial/ 02:01 How to make this:  to:  or  Yeah people, this time I'm posting my 'how-to-make' an icon. I'm using Photoshop CS 2 (and I think this can be applied to other Photoshop versions too, but I don't know about GIMP) 1. First, prepare your base. I'm using this:  2. Now, click 'Layer > New adjustment layer > Selective color'. Here are the settings: Reds: Cyan -100, Magenta +39, Yellow +49, Black +9 Yellow: Cyan +100, Magenta +6, Yellow -100, Black +100 Blues: Cyan +100, Magenta -100, Yellow -100, Black +78 Whites: Cyan +61, Magenta -68, Yellow -81, Black 00 Black: Cyan +35, Magenta 00, Yellow -29, Black 00 3. You'll get this:  4. Then click 'Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation' Add this settings: Master: Saturation+6 Red: Saturation+24 Yellow: Hue-22, Saturation +44 Cyan: Hue +2, Saturation +16 5. Your result: 6. Want more? Create a new layer, fill it with #2b0785, set as exclusion, and turn the opacity to 21% 7. My final result: Easy right? XD Any comment? Or maybe you want to ask? Post them here! |

[001] graphic post :3/ 03:50 Well, hay thar! Just posting some of my graphics I made for IndoHogwarts <3 Lagipula cuma buat tugas sekolah kok wkwkwkwk :P *digaplok* Indonesian mode ON Eaaaa, akhirnya gue majang juga hasil-hasil karya gue dari yang awal-awal (ga bener-bener dari awal sih), sampe yg terbaru. Yang terbaru yang paling atas tuh, bikin avatar buat anak yang pake vis Erika Toda *peluk Juz*. Wahaha, ternyata gue seringan bikin set buat visualisasi Asia ya... *baru sadar* -.-;
